[Indie] The General- Dispatch
Dispatch is an American Indie/Roots band. They have a very unique style, it is kind of a mix between reggae and light rock music. I first heard this song a couple of years ago when a couple of my friends were playing it on guitars. I was interested by their rendition, so I got the actual song, and have loved it ever since. This song is a classic that most of my friends know, and when ever I play it, we all end up singing along. I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do.

[Hip/Hop] Happymess- Atmosphere
Atmosphere is a rap group that I wouldn't quite consider underground, but they are definitely a less known group that are pretty dope. This song in particular is a song that always puts me in a good mood. The beat is sick and the use of hums in the beat is very unique. Most of Atmospheres music is slower paced rap, but they are still just as talented as any main stream artist. If you like this song, you should definitely check out some more of their music. Their songs are always good to listen to if you are feeling down because their style is up beat and they make such good music.

[Alternative] Into the Ocean- Blue October
Blue October is a group that I just recently started listening to, but instantly became one of my favorite alternative bands. For this post, I am choosing to share their song Into the Ocean. This song is a slower paced song and is a great song to listen to if you are in the mood for something a little mellower. This song has great instrumentals, including an instrument(not quite sure what its called) that I have never heard before in a song. If you like this artist, I recommend checking out their song Calling You. Another great song, and if you can, listen to the acoustic version. In my opinion, it is better than the original.

[Techno] Thunderstruck-AC/DC(Crookers Remix)
When I first heard this song, I was driving with a bunch of my friends. Later that day, I was trying to figure out what the song was called, but couldn't figure it out. It took me a couple of days to find it again, but when I finally did, I listened to it multiple times just to hear the drop again. The drop in this song is dope. Crookers is a group that does a lot of mixes of songs that all already in existence, but some of their stuff is hit or miss. With this song, they definitely got a hit.

[Rock] Fiction- Avenged Sevenfold
Avenged Sevenfold is one of the first rock groups that I really started listening to. Again, this is another group that makes alot of good music. Their first few albums were more hardcore rock, but once they changed their style a little and calmed down some, they became one of my favorite bands. This song starts off with a long intro, but opens up as it continues. When I first heard started listening to this song, it had the most plays out of any other song in my iTunes. When listening to this song, you can tell there is alot of meaning behind it, and it just makes me like this song that much more.

[Hip/Hop] Cookin' Keys- Jedi Mind Tricks
Jedi Mind Tricks is a group that is essentially the same members as Army of the Pharaohs (view earlier post). As I said before, this group is and amazing rap group that has consistently good music. For this song in particular, I chose one of their songs that has a very mellow beat to it, but is still a good party song. I have played this song on many occasions to several different groups of people, and the feed back is always good. The hook is a little strange, but the song overall is dope. Also, the name of this album is pretty sick, "Servants in Heaven, Kings in Hell". I don't know about you, but I think that is a pretty dope name for and album. I will definitely be posting more songs from them in the future.

[Hip/Hop] Doctor's Advocate- The Game Ft. Busta Rhymes
The Game is a rapper that I really started listening to a couple of years ago, and instantly became probably my favorite artist from any genre. I own almost all of his albums on iTunes, and he is another one of those artists that has only good music. This song in particular has a lot of meaning to it and is really a great song to listen to whenever you are in the mood to reminisce. Featured in this song is Busta Rhymes, another artist that I find to be very underrated. For me, this song has connotations as an inside joke and as a classic song that can always make me feel good. I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do.

[Rock] The Good Left Undone- Rise Against
Rise Against, an American rock band out of Chicago, is a rock band that I really enjoy listening to. For this song choice, I choose one of the first songs that I heard by Rise Against. I first heard this song about four years ago, and it still remains my favorite Rise Against song. What I really enjoy about Rise Against is that they are rock, but their music is usually pretty calm. They are one of the few artists in my iTunes that I never skip over when my songs are shuffling. This song is good for any occasion, whether it be driving or doing homework.
